My name is Cory, and I'm a student. I just started College at Ivy Tech in Muncie Indiana. I'm going for Human Services to become a social worker because our CPS system is so overworked and I've seen so many people lose what they shouldn't have in the system.

I got out of jail back in April and I'm coming out of a messy divorce. I've been living in a storage unit for the last two months because I have no friends or family down here. I lost my job and just got another one, and just today I managed to find a place to move into. But my wife let utility bills in my name go while I was in jail and just bailed on our apartment. Now I need 150 dollars just to be able to get electric, and 53 dollars to get water turned on.

The trustee can't help me and, being a male without a child, I'm not available for any assistance besides food stamps. I ride a broken down bicycle from 'home' to school 3 days a week, and my job won't give me more than 20 hours a week at minimum wage. I'm stuck. If I can get on my feet, I'll be okay. But I'm flat on my back at rock bottom and need someone to help me up....

If anyone can help me, please, let me know.

Honestly, we're in a mess. My huband and I are in trouble with CPS, and need to have housing and everything straightened out before we can get our son back. That's all: housing with utilities. Problem is considering that my husband only has a part time job and I'm looking for work, it's almost impossible to get the money up for deposits. We're looking at a house that we can afford, even on our limited income, but the deposit on it and the utilities are beyond what we can manage, we're about $850 short of making everything work to get our son back. We're not bad people by the way, and our son was taking purely because of the housing issues, so it's not like anything 'wrong' occured, just couldn't provide a home due to a previous job loss getting us evicted. We just need to know about any resources, places that may help with loans, or give us some of the deposit money in exchange for work, etc. We're not lazy, and not wasting our time or money, and have no intention of wasting anyone elses. We're located in Delaware County, IN if anyone knows of any organizations in the area able to help, I'd apprciate that knowledge as well.

Many thanks in advance-

A

I am a single mother that has lived in subsidised housing here in Indiana

I have had to tolerate a loud neighbor .and complained about this neighbor many times.

In which I was told write the dates an times of the disturbances an turn them to them.

Nothing was ever done about it.

I then received a letter in the mail to come to a meeting , that if I was able to come to the meeting because of work an that my children where to be school.

I called an left a message that I wasn't able to come.

I then received an eviction over the not coming to the meeting.

Another meeting was never scheduled an my children an I also being accused by the neighbor that has been harrassing us an keeping us awake all hours of the night that we are a nusiance.

I still keep dates an times of the noise an have police reports ( not many though because dispatch didnt log in all the calls I made )

I am worried that we will put out an we have no where to go.

We have no family here an feel we are being treated very unfair.

Any advice would be welcomed.

Hello I am a father of two wonderful boys. I work full time at our local hospital as a Information Systems Tech, and part time as a reserve police officer. A little over 1 year ago the company I worked for (13 years) went out of bussiness and myself and my family became finacialy devestated. Everthing i had tied up in investments has been used to try to pay off as much of my debt as possible and I am still faced with the last option of bankruptcy. We live day by day on a $14.00 an hour wage (after taxes and insurance for my kids it takes it down to around $7.00 an hour). The remaining amout goes to a house payment, car payment, and utilites. All of which have a 2 to 3 month late non payment charge as I am so far behind I do not belive I am ever going to get chaught up again. Recently my oldest son 5 has become ill due to his asthma and I have had to stay home and try to get him over his illness. I do not know where to turn as all my family (mother and Father) have passed away and my wife is medical unable to hold a job due to major illnesses. I am to the point where I wish some days I just dont wake up. I love my children and really need the help so if anyone out there can help I would be forever in your debt.
